PLEDGE ALLEGIENCE TO MY GOD, FATHER OF ALL CREATION, AND TO HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, WHO IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT, BY WHICH ALL MAY COME TO THE FATHER. BE ADOPTED INTO THE FAMILY, AND LIVE IN ONENESS WITH HIM FOR ALL ETERNITY;
TO HIS WORD,
THE HOLY BIBLE, GIVER OF TRUTH, ABSOLUTE AND INDESTRUCTIBLE, BY WHICH HE INSPIRES US TO LOVE ALL MANKIND, TO LIVE IN ONENESS WITH ONE ANOTHER AS HE IN US AND WE IN HIM;
TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (NOT THE CORPORATION), AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
"I have lived, sir, a long time; and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?" --Benjamin Franklin, Motion for Prayers in the Constitutional Convention, 1787
